With this qualification you can work as an entry-level technical or user- support position that spans a wide range of computing environments requiring support personnel. Please note: An average of 60% for all modules at the exit level is required if an applicant wishes to proceed to the Diploma: IT (Support Services).

The Support Services stream focuses on the day-to-day administration of the IT and networks infrastructure and support of the users reliant on this infrastructure.

The study of Information Technology (IT) at this level aims to address and equip students with advanced knowledge and skills in the Information Technology discipline. Students will be able to analyse, design and implement IT solutions to make meaningful contributions to the industry and national development, by ensuring optimal utilisation of IT resources.
